Dina Meyer was born within Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing junior high, she moved to Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. Two of her brothers are Gregory, her older brother, and Evan. When she was nine till 16, she started working in the entertainment business by modeling. Her career in acting began with The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied the techniques of Sanford Meisner with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who studied to this manner along with Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her role was in Beverly Hills 90210, and was forced to relocate to Los Angeles to take the role. After landing the lead role on Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts her own, she proved her self as an actor athletic. She was also represented by Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to secure a regular spot in the show Friends.
