Bashar Jackson, who is also popularly known as Pop Smoke, his pseudonym Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th, 2020) was an American songwriter and rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide & Republic Records were his two labels. The popularity of Pop Smoke grew when he worked in collaboration with UK drill-producers 808Melo Axl Beats (UK) and Yoz Beatz (UK). Welcome to the Party, the single off the mixtape he released as his debut Meet the Woo released in the summer of 2019, it was made available by him in April 19, 2019. The track Welcome to the Party was made in two remixes with American artist Nicki Minaj and British rapper Skepta in August 2019. Pop Smoke dropped his smash single Welcome to the Party in April of 2019. It was the lead track on the mixtape he released his debut album Meet the Woo. Later, in August 2019 two versions of the single were made available. The first remix featured Nicki Minaj while the second included Skepta. It was noted due to its use in UK drill production that was later found in his discography. This was due to numerous collaborations that he had with British drill producer 808Melo. Other well-known songs of his include Mpr Flexin and Dior. The duo also collaborated on several other smash singles after the huge popularity in Welcome to the Party. The songs include War, featuring Lil Tjay, and 100k in a coupe, featuring Calboy. Gatti, the final track in JackBoys album (2019), featuring JackBoys album (2019), by Scott as well as Cactus Jack's fellow members and JackBoys released in the month of December, 2019.
